Summary about Florence Nightingale
Florence Nightingale gale was born 12 may in 1820 in Florence. As she
grown up she wanted to become a nurse but her parents wanted to stop
her, they wanted her to get married instead.
She went to Germany to learn about nursing. She looked after sick people and helped them during operations. In 1854, Britain entered the Crimean War. Florence were there to helped the wounded soldiers, She cleaned up the dirty hospital and made it safe. She made the deaf percent sank to 40& to 2%. She was kind to the soldiers and she talked to them and gave them hope. Every night she used to go with a lamp around the hospital and that's how she got the nickname. “The Lady with the Lamp”.
