My summer holiday

Great Britain

Me and my family traveled to Great Britain this summer and we were there for 8 days. It was the eight best days this summer.
The two first days we lived at a hotel outside of London. So the first “real” day we were going to London with a train. I thought it was many people there but in reality it was 30% less people than what it used to be, because everyone had been warned not to go to London because it should be many people there because of the Olympic Games.
We were in London the whole day, from 8 in the morning to 11 in the night. We just walked around and looked at things, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, the Tower Bridge and so on. It was 30° that day and it was so, so warm. And because we walked the whole day, I hurt my feet very bad.
    The second day we were going to the place where we should live the rest of our vacation, “the ghosts capital” York. Only because it was “the ghosts capital” there were very many ghost rounds there and one of the evening we walked one of them.  
Another day we were going to Scotland. It took a while to go there, but it was worth it. It was very beautiful there. There were no trees there, only a few so it was very open. But they speak very strange in Scotland, I didn’t understand what they said. It was like messy english.

Another very nice place was Cambridge. There is a university with manny college in, with different focus, so there were very manny young people there and they played and sang in the street. That is something that’s different from Sweden, in England it isn’t embarrassing to sing and play in the street, it just normal but in Sweden it is a sign to be poor or something like that and I thought it was very nice.

The worst whit UK was the food. I didn’t like it and to eat breakfast was terrible because the sandwich wasn’t good and the cheese was disgusting and the yourghort tasted  strange.

That was my holiday in Great Britain, we just walked around in different cities, London, Cambridge, Liverpool, Edinburgh and so on, to see things and just enjoying our vacation.
